Description Williamson County Government is seeking to employ a qualified individual for the position of
Soil Scientist Technician. Among the qualities a successful candidate must possess include:

- graduation from and accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in soil science,
agronomy, and/or agriculture with and emphasis in plan and soil science or agronomy; or

- graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree with significant
coursework in biological, physical, earth science, and/or soil science.

- a valid motor vehicle operator's license; and

- possess the ability to perform significant physical labor including but not limited to the
operation of a hand auger and probe, walking over rough and wooded terrain while carrying
necessary equipment, and all other physical labor outlined in the job description for this
position (copy available upon request).

Starting pay for those fully meeting the minimum requirements is $20.80 per/hour.
